This was a contract Fantasy Portrait of a girl named Summer. For the client, we named the piece "Summermaid".
The client was open to my interpretation for this portrait, and initially was thinking of a faerie. After seeing the girls
photo (below), I decided she'd make a better mermaid. The client and recipient were very happy!
