Winter represents the venerable.  She is wisdom, reflection, respect, tranquility, and death (with the promise of new life).  Her element is Air.  It can't be seen online, but on a print you may see the owl image watching her from the ice-wall to her right.

Winter is inspired by my mother, Dolores, who always seemed boundless in her wisdom and serenity (although quite capable of vitality as well), and who helped teach me to understand death.
